Reflecting on 2023: A Heartfelt Journey Through Glastonbury's Real Estate Market and Gratitude

Breaking down the real estate headlines and MLS stats so you, the local homeowner, can stay informed on what matters to our hyper-local Glastonbury market.

Curious how our market did last year in comparison to the past 3 years...? Be sure to check out my Instagram account at: @LindaEdelwichRealtor for a detailed look at exactly what our market has been doing and where we are headed in 2024!

As we close out the 2023 real estate market, I wanted to take the opportunity to share some gratitudes.

I am grateful that my small team and I were able to help over 70 families this past year with their real estate needs. We cared for everyone’s needs with most citing they felt like they were our only client. There can be no better compliment.

I am also grateful to have been part of the Glastonbury Education Foundation again this past year. Together, the GEF board has made so many monetary and meaningful contributions to this wonderful town.

I am further grateful for the love and support of my family and friends. As we head into another year, I hope all of the readers to the Citizen have such support and love in your lives too.

Our Glastonbury Raveis office lost a beloved mentor and friend on November 18th. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. After a 12 year long battle with cancer, Micki Gebhardt passed away with her loving family by her side. I would say this having spoken to her many times about her battle, she would rather lift you up than dwell in her own struggles and make you feel better than complain about her fight. So lastly, I am grateful for the years I was able to know such an amazing and truly selfless person.
